108 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "One Tone"

This replica of my tinnitus was created using the free program called audacity. Http://audacityteam. Org/i had to generate 3 different 'tones' and combine them before i felt the high-ish noise was close to what i hear. I then had to search freesound for something that i only hear beneath the high pitch noise when my house is very quiet, which is something like the sound of strong wind outside a closed window or a power station a mile away. It took me a few hours, and even then i had to manipulate the sound considerably. Thanks to felix. Blume forhttp://freesound. Org/people/felix. Blume/sounds/167684/#commentsthis natural wind sound file was equalized and leveled several times, then the sound level was reduced to blend with the high pitch. But it still wasn't right. So, not being an expert with audacity, i just went down the list of 'effects', trying each one, until i found "paulstretch", which somehow increases the time length of your sound file, without stretching as in 'elastic', which would deepen the existing tones, and apparently, without copying and pasting. The sound does change somewhat, becoming just slightly ragged, but it's a very interesting effect for this application and actually got used on both elements to produce the final sound. . I hope no one enjoys this sound and can't imagine that anyone will. It makes me feel slightly sick. . Info edited 28 oct 2021: with my tinnitus at it's current level, i will never, now, be able to reproduce it again, primarily because i can't hear any sounds i create in a detailed way. And secondly, because hearing this version of the sound these days is just too uncomfortable. 🥲.

Idea for a base for a radio bumper. I found another track in which someone had said, "du bist der hörer. Wir sind das radio. " so i recorded myself repeating these sentences, which translate from german into english as, "you are the listener. We are the radio. " i also overlaid it over a track of generated sine waves, one in each channel (l-r), chosen to be discordant (like a radioactive effect). Sine waves are 10. 5 seconds, i left 4. 5 seconds at the end to overlay your content (maybe an ident or whatever). Have fun!. A recording of a high school class. Students were working on a sound effects project on computers, but generally allowed to talk as they worked. This is maybe 18 students, with the mic about 10 feet away from the nearest student, mic towards one side of the room, pointed towards the middle. We also have ac on, and an av cart that has a fan on, plus a wall clock, some of which you may not be able to hear over the students. Mic was the zoom h1 set to record a wav file, record level manual, low pass filter engaged, with the quality settings at the highest values. It was then put through audacity to amplify it to the highest allowable levels without distorting, and spit out as a wav.

Org. I imported that file to my ableton live. I reverse the sample and shorten a little. From the sample window i changed flux and grain values to bring out uneasy tones in front. I did make two other copies of the sample and played them all in same sequence, with slight different transpose values. The new hope & ivyland railroad is located in new hope, pennsylvania, usa. Basically, it's a tourist railroad that gives visitors the experience of riding in an old fashioned train. You take a short trip out (too short in my opinion) and a short trip back to the station. Since i wanted clean sound, my wife decided to surprise me by paying for the private seats on the very back (outside) of the train. Think of old pictures of presidents waving from the rear of a moving train. . . That place!. So, with zoomh4n pro in hand, i recorded the entire trip from station to station. There's lots of good, old fashioned, clickity-clackity track in this one. A rarity these days as most tracks are now put down with out breaks for miles at a time. Enjoy!. Christopher.
